Albisetti legte 1988 die erste vergleichende Studie über die Institutionalisierung des höheren Mädchenschulwesens, über die Zulassung von Frauen zum Universitätsstudium und zu den akademischen Berufen in den deutschen Einzelstaaten im „langen 19. Jahrhundert“ vor.
