Reader's Theater and Its Impact on Reading Comprehension and Speaking

Focusing on the effectiveness of Reader's Theatre, this study evaluated its impact on reading and speaking skills among high school students at SMA N6 Palembang. Utilizing a quasi-experimental method with a sample of 42 students from a larger group of 186, the research revealed significant improvements in both reading and speaking achievements. The statistical analysis indicated a mean difference of 15.382 in reading and a gain of 0.40952 in speaking performance, confirming that Reader's Theatre positively influences these educational outcomes.
