    Elias Boudinot byl právník a státník, který se zapsal do historie jako delegát Kontinentálního kongresu a poslanec amerického Kongresu za New Jersey. Jeho působení v čele Kontinentálního kongresu v letech 1782 až 1783 a následné vedení mincovny Spojených států podtrhují jeho významnou roli ve formování rané americké republiky.
