They're the worst creatures the Pyrossian Sea cradles and shepherds to shore, but I know how to hold my own when they come on land to bury their purple, pulsing eggs. There's only one thing I fear on Pyrros, and that's the legend of our enemies; an elusive, cunning, and rare population that lives at the base of volcanoes. I caught sight of one of them the other night. Caught sight of a man setting himself on fire--and coming back to life. I'll never forget his fiery eyes that blasted the layers of darkness between us before he disappeared into the midnight sky. Lately, our villagers have been disappearing every month, and I know that just a stretch of water away lies a volcanic island our enemies might have recently inhabited. If our villagers are being taken, how can I get them back? How do you defeat a resurrecting enemy?
