The Prince and the Chicken is about two children born into royalty in different kingdoms. The parents in each kingdom take different approaches to parenthood which leads to different outcomes for their children.The girl in the story does not treat people well and because of her actions, she becomes a chicken. The boy grows up to be respectful and kind.The prince and the chicken meet in unusual circumstances with neither knowing the other’s true identity. A baker plays a key role in how the two meet. This story is the journey of how the chicken is transformed back into a girl and the role the prince and two dreams play in that transformation.

This book is a reflection of real life experiences in rural Mississippi as the child of sharecroppers. Poverty and limited education couldn't stop the hopes, dreams and ambitions of the sharecroppers and their descendants. They created a legacy that continues to this day. This book shares the good seeds of family, knowledge & wisdom, faith, and legacy that were planted by my parents and that continues to be planted in the lives of generations of their descendants.The lessons taught by my family are still applicable today, and have been instrumental in the success that we have attained.

I believe it is possible for each of us to create a legacy for the next generation. A legacy is similar to a blessing. It is something - money, property, wisdom, reputation, etc., -- that is handed down from one person or generation to another. The legacy can be good or bad, depending on the person. This book is my way of leaving a legacy and a blessing to my loved ones by sharing some of the things I've learned. I've grouped these learnings into three main concepts: things I want you to KNOW, what I hope you will BE, and things I hope you will DO in life. The book uses the Bible to talk about who God is, who we are, and who/what we can be if we choose to wear the labels God has designed for us. It also includes practical insights and things I've learned over the years. It also includes a blessing that I wrote for my family. Although this book is written for my family, I believe it can also be a blessing to others who may read it. Let this be inspiration as you, too, hand down a blessing to the next generation.

i AM SPECIAL is about all the possibilities that exist in a person's life. Each person is unique and has been given special talents and skills that are valuable in God's sight. My desire is for each child to realize how special they are.
