Jennifer Lancaster je autorkou deseti publikovaných knih: Bitter is the New Black; Bright Lights, Big Ass; Such A Pretty Fat; Pretty in Plaid; My Fair Lazy; Jeneration X; If You Were Here, její první fikce The Tao of Martha a Here I Go Again její druhá fikce. Posledním titulem je kniha Twisted Sisters. Lancasterová nyní žije v Chicagu, Illinois se svým manželem a jejich mnoha domácími zvířaty. Je známá pro svůj humor a nadhled, což se často odráží v jejích knihách.
