W marcu 2020 r. udzielił wywiadu dotyczącego fatalnych skutków błędnych terapii stosowanych przy leczeniu COVID-19, który na kanale youtube miał w krótkim czasie ponad 1,3 mln wyświetleń. Torsten Engelbrecht mieszka i pracuje w Hamburgu jako niezależny dziennikarz specjalizujący się w tematyce medycznej. Ukończył ekonomię na hamburskim uniwersytecie. W latach 2000-2003 był członkiem zespołu redakcyjnego „Financial Times Deutschland“ odpowiedzialnym za tematykę gospodarczą i finansową.
