Ronald E. Anderson Knihy

"I have been writing poetry most of my life and this selection of work is especially personal to me. As an artist and a writer I feel the need to communicate to the world what I believe to be important. Poetry and free verse are the means of my expressions and the short stories that I wrote in play form I believe will be entertaining and suspenseful. The character of John Griffith was based on a good friend who died a young and tragic death. You might say he lives on in these short stories and the characters themselves; though largely fictional, I consider memorable. My work like my life is seen through a darkened lens, but that lens adds depth to the soul.I do hope you sincerely enjoy this read. Those who have read it have not been able to put it down. I hope the same will apply for you. With all my heart, Ronald E. Anderson Patterns With A Twist was originally written several years ago and enhanced with my work in the historic Granada Theater where we held productions and yes conducted tours of this historic building."
Focusing on the concept of suffering, this work contextualizes personal narratives and statistics to deepen the understanding of its impact on quality of life and societal progress. It employs nine conceptual frameworks to analyze suffering, with a particular emphasis on the quality of life frame. By integrating human suffering into the discourse on well-being, the book illustrates how this perspective can enrich research and enhance our comprehension of social well-being and progress.
This is the first volume on the subject of the alleviation of world suffering. At the same time it is also the first book framing the fields of global socio-economic development, world health, human rights, peace studies, sustainability, and poverty within the challenge of alleviating suffering and improving quality of life. Both international studies and global development have become specialized and fragmented, whereas this work assembles all of these development fragments together in order to determine whether common ground exists to make headway in reducing global suffering. Leading experts in these various fields of development and suffering have been recruited worldwide to give scholarly assessments of the major human problems and how they can be successfully tackled.
