Kritika čistého rozumu (1781) je základním spisem moderní filosofie. Kant v ní zkoumá možnosti poznání v matematice, přírodních vědách a metafyzice jakožto disciplínách, jejichž věty se neopírají o zkušenost. Na základě své teorie, v níž vymezuje podmínky možnosti poznání vůbec, pak dospívá k tvrzení, že metafyzika na rozdíl od matematiky a přírodních věd překračuje zkušenost neoprávněně, a udává podmínky, za nichž jedině může být smysluplná. Svazek je upraveným vydáním českého překladu spisu z roku 2001. Obsahuje kompletní text druhého vydání z r. 1787, včetně všech pasáží z prvního vydání z r. 1781, které Kant do druhého vydání nepřevzal. Do svazku jsou rovněž zařazeny Kantovy rukopisné exempláře. Nové vydání připravili Milan Sobotka a Jan Kuneš.

Beschreibung Gases have to be specifically mixed with a continuous liquid phase to perform a reaction with high yield and selectivity. The time scales of mixing are determined by the transport processes in the boundary layer close to the phase boundary and by bubble swarm turbulence. For clarification of the local mass transfer in bubbly flows, an experimental setup is developed and successfully used to investigate single rectilinear (spherical), helical (ellipsoid) and irregular rising bubbles with and without chemical reaction. Therefore, the time resolved scanning laser induced fluorescence technique is further developed and applied for the first time to bubbly flows to allow new insights in the mass transfer processes.

Die Arbeit untersucht Funk-Übertragung bei extrem großer Bandbreite. Zur Übertragung werden Komponenten benötigt, die über der gesamten Bandbreite konstante Eigenschaften aufweisen. Dies ist in der Realität nicht realisierbar und führt zu Signalstörungen. Die Arbeit modelliert solche Nicht-Idealitäten, bindet sie in ein messdatenbasiertes Systemmodell ein, untersucht das Systemverhalten und optimiert die Performance durch Methoden der Kompensation und optimaler Signalisierung.

Das Buch behandelt Kants Versuch, innerhalb seiner Ethik Sittengesetz, Naturgesetz und Freiheit im moralischen Handeln in Einklang zu bringen. Im ersten Teil stehen die Begriffe der Freiheit und des Willens bei Kant im Mittelpunkt. Der zweite Teil untersucht detailliert die Kernpunkte der kantischen Ethik: den (letztlich gescheiterten) Versuch, Freiheit und Naturkausalität auszusöhnen, und die Theorie des Handelns nach Moralgesetzen, deren Wahl den freien Willen als eigentliches Moment ausmacht. Am Ende steht die Einsicht in ein hoch entwickeltes, differenziertes gedankliches System, das unserer Alltagsauffassung von moralischer Verantwortung erstaunlich nahe kommt.
