Since 1997 the international „Conference on Quality Engineering in Software Technology“ (CONQUEST) has gathered together the software and quality engineering community to discuss aspects of software quality and to share experiences in industrial and research projects. The book includes a selection of the speeches and lectures presented at the conference. They offer first-hand information on the practical application and ongoing development of methods and techniques, and provide insight into real-life case studies along with detailed quality analysis and evaluation. The proceedings of CONQUEST 2009 include: - Metrics - Challenges and Solutions for Quality Assurance in the Medical Domain - QA Processes - Open Source and Agile Projects - Architecture Evaluation - Applications: Automotive and Medical - RFID - Applications: Telecommunication and IT - Standards and Frameworks - V-Model XT CONQUEST 2009 is organized by the International Software Quality Institute (iSQI) in cooperation with Fraunhofer FOKUS and the German Society for Informatics (GI). It is kindly supported by Bayern Innovativ.

The fourth edition of the European Conference on Model-Driven Architecture – Foundations and Applications (ECMDA-FA 2008) aimed to advance knowledge and promote the industrialization of the model-driven architecture (MDA) methodology. MDA, initiated by the Object Management Group (OMG), supports platform-generic software development through the use of models in the specification, design, analysis, synthesis, deployment, and evolution of complex software systems. This conference engaged key European and international researchers and practitioners in discussions to strengthen the industry and enhance software reliability based on cutting-edge research. ECMDA-FA serves as a platform for sharing information, exploring recent findings, and debating future MDA developments. The proceedings of ECMDA-FA 2008 cover various MDA domains, including model management, executable models, validation, model-based systems engineering, and service-oriented architectures. The success of the conference is attributed to the collaboration of the Organization, Steering, and Program Committee members, as well as the vibrant community involved. ECMDA-FA 2008 received 87 submissions, with 31 accepted, comprising 21 research papers and 10 industry papers, thanks to a rigorous selection process.
Since 1997 the International „Conference on Quality Engineering in Software Technology“ (CONQUEST) has brought together the software and quality engineering community to discuss software quality aspects and to share experiences in industrial and research projects. This year special emphasis was laid on Business Process Engineering (BPE). The book constitutes a selection of the presented speeches and lectures. They offer first-hand information on the practical use and further development of methods and techniques and provide insight into specific real-life case studies with detailed quality analysis and evaluation. The proceedings of the CONQUEST 2007 include ° Business Process Engineering ° Test Automation ° Quality Assurance for Embedded Systems ° Web Service Quality ° Software Code and Model Quality ° Metrics ° Self-Healing Complex Software Systems ° New Perspectives on Quality Assurance CONQUEST 2007 is organized by iSQI in cooperation with the Hasso Plattner Institute, the University of Potsdam, the German Society for Informatics (GI) and the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It is kindly supported by the Ministry of Economics of Brandenburg and the Security and Safety made in Berlin-Brandenburg network (SeSamBB).
