Vulliamy Ed Knihy

Ed Vulliamy se narodil a vyrůstal v londýnské čtvrti Notting Hill a vzdělání získal na Oxfordské univerzitě. Jeho žurnalistické počátky jsou spojeny s tiskovou skupinou Mirror a s televizní stanicí Granada, kde působil v programu Svět v pohybu; za tuto činnost získal cenu Královské televizní společnosti. Roku 1986 se stal členem redakce deníku Guardian. Krátkou dobu pracoval na stáži v listě Washington Post. Po návratu do Guardianu píše reportáže z Rumunska, Berlína a Iráku a věnuje se také problematice italské mafie a korupčních skandálů. Jeho zpravodajství z válečných událostí v bývalé Jugoslávii odměnila Granada Cenou pro zahraničního dopisovatele roku 1992. Získal i další uznání britského tisku a Amnesty International.
