"This work describes the simulation of neural networks on the MUSIC (Multiprocessor System With Intelligent Communication) parallel distributed-memory computer). The sustained performance of practical implementations is more than two orders of magnitude higher in comparison with present-day comuter workstations. This allows the experimental exploration of new, unknown territories. Futhermore, a neural networks simulation environment has been developed.
