Introduces an interdisciplinary model for the prosthetic treatment of the edentulous mandible in elderly patients with removable partial dentures on osseointegrated implants, involving three structurally and therapeutically different removable suprastructures to fit specific requirements of elderly patients. Precision prefabricated components are used exclusively for simple fabrication of the removable suprastructure. Emphasis is on implant-prosthetic treatment of elderly patients, with consideration of aspects of aging, presurgical prosthetic planning, and prosthodontic treatment principles.
