Die Lieder Eberhards von Cersne
Autoři
Více o knize
This edition sets out to remedy the relative neglect of the Minnelieder by Eberhard von Cersne and delineate their significance for early German literary history. Alongside Hugo von Montfort and Oswald von Wolkenstein, Eberhard was one of the most prominent representatives of the Minnelied around 1400. His poetry is marked by an engagement with the Minnesang legacy of the Classical and post-Classical eras of both German and Romance origins. Here there are parallels discernible to Eberhard's major work „Der Minne Regel“, a manual on courtly love which is a German adaptation of the late 12th century Latin treatise „De amore“ by Andreas Capellanus.
