The Anthaxia (Haplanthaxia) aeneocuprea Kerremans, 1913 species-group is defined, keyed and all the 56 included species are fully illustrated. Twenty-five new species are described. All available bionomical data concerning this species-group are gathered and new country records are recorded. The lectotype designations are provided and a new synonymy is suggested.
