Blindness, extinction and death are the leitmotifs of his work. A major work is sought in vain in his work. Nevertheless, he has something of a trademark: the overpaintings. Again and again he works on motifs, mostly photographs, which he is full of sense of improvement and often paraphrased in cycles.
