The 2002 IUPAC World Polymer Congress organized by the Polymer Division, Chinese Chemical Society was held in Beijing, China, July 7-12, 2002. This scientific program of the Congress involved plenary sessions and eight scientific sessions. This issue contains some of the plenary lectures and incited lectures presented at the Congress.
