The two great analytic traditions, Sigmund Freud‹s psychoanalysis and C. G. Jung‹s analytical psychology, developed concepts of conscience and morals which differ strongly from each other. The author of this book studies these concepts with regard to their origins, their differences and the significance of each for theory and therapeutic practice. In addition, the author looks into the implications of these differing concepts, even including their implications for social and political reality.
