Focusing on the intersection of engineering and dentistry, this research analyzes the medical treatment of root canal instrumentation using advanced engineering approaches. It evaluates the structural performance of NiTi endodontic instruments through finite element methods and adapts metal cutting principles to the unique forces involved in the process. The study investigates the fatigue behavior of these instruments and proposes design guidelines aimed at enhancing structural performance and optimizing mechanical and fatigue characteristics for improved instrument design.
