Trends in mathematics

This volume contains the Proceedings of the Courant-Colloquium „Trends in Mathematics“, which took place at the Mathematics Institute of the University of Göttingen in October 2007. Contributions reflect recent trends in number theory, geometry, algebra as well as mathematical physics and apply to higher order structures in mathematics.
