Current legal issues concerning tobacco regulation in Europe

The study addresses different aspects of current legal questions posed by the planned revision of the EU Tobacco Products Directive. The upcoming revision and the planned tightening up of the EU rules on the characteristics of tobacco products, placing restrictions on access to tobacco products, and increasing the deterrent effect of tobacco packaging design, clearly evoke numerous legal problems.
