With this book, the author focused on the September 12 films from the perspective of the trauma studies, which is the one of the freshest study field in Turkey. In this sense, the book, together with a few number of postgraduate theses, is one of the phenomenal studies in Turkey. Together with this book, the author explained the masculinity problem within the framework of September 12 coup and its effects on people. While making all these explanations, he explained the state-individual conflict in Turkey by dealing with the social structure's economic, political and familial aspects.
