Relates the stories of 46 Czech Jewish scholars - scientists, physicians, scholars in humanities, journalists, etc. - who died a violent or unnatural death as a consequence of racial persecution. The data on these people are taken mainly from the archives of the Czech Republic; in some cases, memoirs, testimonies, and private documents were also used.
