This work explores various theoretical and methodological considerations within the framework of constructivist science. It emphasizes the significance of empirical material, addressing issues of representativeness and the challenges encountered during participant observation. The interpretation methods employed are also discussed. The context of a multicultural society is established, leading into a broader examination of societal theory, particularly the relationship between system and lifeworld. Key themes include the decoupling of system and lifeworld, systemic integration in advanced industrial societies, and the social integration processes at play. The text delves into the everyday realities of life at the intersection of systemic and lifeworld integration principles, highlighting social pathologies such as the mediatisation and colonisation of the lifeworld. Reflexivity, individualization, and pluralism are presented as modes of socialization in postmodern contexts, alongside counter-projects and pedagogical considerations in multicultural societies. The situation of youth in advanced industrial societies is analyzed, focusing on their systemic and social integration, youth cultures, and the contemporary challenges faced by the church, including the crisis of modern religion and its implications for church activities, particularly in youth work.
