The human right to health and its relation to the WTO

The apparent clash between trade and human rights is an issue that is intensively debated both within academic discourse and among the general public. From a mundane, non-academic viewpoint, human rights seem to possess a moral authority which makes it hard to comprehend how they cannot trump trade demands.
