The Joint Commission Seminar on Historical Maps, Atlases and Toponymy took place on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd August 2013 at the Leibniz-Institut für Länderkunde (Institute for Regional Geography) in Leipzig. As a pre-conference to the 26th International Cartographic Conference in Dresden, Germany, the seminar was organised by the following commissions and working groups: • ICA Commission on the History of Cartography • ICA Commission on Atlases • Joint ICA Working Group and IGU Commission on Toponymy
