Cities evolve, with new urban spaces emerging and existing ones being transformed. These spaces are expected to serve essential functions while also possessing distinct spatial qualities. Jürgen Weidinger, a professor of landscape architecture at the Technische Universität Berlin, explores this question through the concept of atmosphere.
