The study „Industrial Engineering and Management in Education and Practice“ is the most important publication on the occupational profile of industrial engineers. It is aimed at graduates and students for decision support in the choice of universities and fields of study, to industrial engineers working in practice as well as companies, who are interested in industrial engineers. For the current edition, industrial engineers were asked about their career, more than 150 universities, universities of applied sciences, and vocational colleges participated in a comprehensive representation of the different training concepts. Furthermore, numerous interviews were conducted with HR managers of medium-sized and large enterprises to document the demand of the economy. Profiles of successful industrial engineers from different industries who comment on their career, complete the study.
