Information technology (IT) is increasingly vital to organizations, evolving from a supportive role to a key strategic pillar. Aligning IT with organizational needs is essential, often referred to as "business-IT alignment." One effective tool for achieving this alignment is Enterprise Architecture (EA), which offers a comprehensive view of an organization’s structure and guides its evolution toward desired goals. A fundamental component of EA is the EA model, which abstracts elements and their relationships into a manageable format. Enterprise architects typically model business processes, applications, hardware, data models, and customer relationships. The information within the EA model aids management in making critical decisions about future directions. Additionally, at the operational level, the model provides insights into application usage across business environments and data exchanges. The quality of the EA model is crucial for deriving meaningful decisions; thus, this work focuses on developing various processes and techniques to ensure the model's quality.
