The traditional boundaries between theological disciplines are shifting. This development of recent years, particulary obvious in German and North American contexts, mainly concerns the intensifying dialogue between Exegetical and Systematic Theology, and the convergence of Practical Theology and Theological Ethics. In their contributions to this volume, leading scholars from North America and Germany reflect these interdisciplinary border crossings and investigate into their inner connectivity.
