The subject information is clearly structured and complimented by an array of ideas and anecdotes. The author has gained his knowledge and experience in a career spanning over 50 years. He acquired his expertise in all facets of the catering and hotel trade in various countries. Over the last 30 years he has principally devoted himself to focusing on the various catering branches. The vocational school Bad Überkingen and the hotel trade colleges in Heidelberg and Luzern, Switzer-land, broaden this knowledge and expertise. Today, the author is active as a lecturer for catering management in the Business Administration Studies faculty in Hessen and as a consultant for the SES (Senior Expert Service) in Bonn. His favourite project was the introduction of the first German Catering Business College in Limburg in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Education in Hessen.
