Performing Surgery

In the arts-based research Performing Surgery (2015-2018) gestural aspects are explored in the operating theater. Body language, subjective and emotional dimensions in the relationships of surgeons and patients are tackled by means of visual and sensory ethnography, drawing, videoing and filmmaking.
