It examines the impact of technology, such as social media and smartphones, on public safety and policy-making. While these innovations have strengthened community safety efforts, they also raise concerns about vigilantism, stigmatization, and ethnic profiling, particularly in suburban middle-class areas, highlighting the complexities of modern policing dynamics.
