A Transfer of Demons is a metaphor for the host of unfortunate events that have taken place in Tekos life. Everything happens at once. She loses her best friend. Her overwhelming desire to help people seems to blow up in her face when she decides to become a foster mom. In the middle of all that, the man of her dreams (her best friends brother) comes into her life. Although Teko is not a very religious person, she calls on the all mighty more than she ever has.
