Focusing on the creation of space as an active process, the book explores how cultural and social contexts shape spatial habits. It critiques existing urban planning theories and introduces a fresh perspective on spatial activity and experience, emphasizing the impact of new technologies. Through two case studies—one utilizing GPS tracking and the other analyzing Twitter data—it redefines temporality as a status, highlighting how habitual practices influence our daily lives. This work stems from a PhD undertaken at University College London.
