The Corsican Brothers

In 1841, the narrator visits Corsica and stays with widow Savilia de Franchi. He uncovers family secrets, including the story of Siamese twins Louis and Lucien, who lead very different lives. Lucien mediates between feuding families, and the narrator joins him on a perilous mission to prevent vendettas.
