Ze začátku jsem měla trochu problém se začíst, musela jsem si zvyknout na styl psaní. Autorka docela dost sází na popis okolí, což mi místy přišlo docela dost zbytečně zdlouhavé. Jakmile jsem se ale do toho dostala, tak mě kniha hned vtáhla. Příběh krásně gradoval a postupně ve vyprávění je tam spousta retrospektivy. Sama se nemůžu rozhodnout, která část se mi líbila více, asi to bylo tak 50 na 50. Postavy mi byly sympatické všechny a na konci knihy jsem měla slzy v očích a byla jsem dojatá. Co mě mile překvapilo, bylo to, že kniha nekončí klasickým happyendem, jak by každý čekal, ale konec se od ostatních romantických knih liší, což jsme uvítala jak dobrou změnu. Naopak, co bych autorce vytkla byla častá změna stylu vyprávění (ich a er forma), což mě hodně mátlo a přišlo mi to zbytečné a konec mi přišel trochu uspěchanější, když vezmu v potaz utahaný začátek. Při celkovém hodnocení knihy jsem se rozhodovala zda dát tři nebo čtyři hvězdy. Protože příběh jako takový se mi moc líbil, ale nevím, zda bych se ke knize ještě někdy vrátila. Nakonec jsem dala vyšší hodnocení a postupem času se rozhodnu, zda u mne zůstane nebo půjde do světa.
