Phoenix Rising

The accident at the Cookshire nuclear power plant transforms Nyle's life. She and her Gran have been spared from fallout, but they take in evacuees, including 15-year-old Ezra, whom Nyle reluctantly cares for. As their bond deepens, Ezra regains his will to live, but the consequences of the accident soon catch up with them.
