Lunzie, returning from her adventures in "The Death of Sleep," learns that the one good heavyworlder she knew isn't as good as she thought. Meanwhile, Fordeliton, tasked with investigating ties between the super-rich and planet pirates, faces death. These are just two of the many intertwining plots in the story.
