The thesis presents a groundbreaking 532 nm high-power continuous-wave single-frequency laser source, achieving a stable output of 134 W through external-cavity doubling. This advancement significantly enhances engineering and physics applications, particularly in light shining through a wall (LSW) experiments, which previously faced limitations with pulsed lasers under 10 W. The research also details improvements to an existing LSW experiment, making it the most sensitive to date, and includes a design study for a future LSW experiment featuring a regeneration cavity.
