With only 25% of adults over 65 engaging in regular exercise, and the 55-64 age group also showing high inactivity levels, understanding the barriers to participation is crucial. As the population of those aged 65 and older is projected to reach 70 million by 2030, promoting exercise could not only enhance quality of life but also save billions in healthcare costs related to inactivity.
