Knižku som dostala pred pár rokmi na Vianoce, ešte ako tínedžerka. Napriek tomu, že bežne nečítam romantické knižky, povedala som si, že jej dám aspoň šancu - nakoniec, bol to darček. Do príbehu som sa tak ponorila, že som mala knihu prečítanú do troch dní a bolo mi ľúto, že už je po nej. Kapitoly písané z perspektív oboch hlavných postáv dodávali príbehu autentickosť, boli kratšie a teda rýchlo ubiehali. Príbeh je písaný denníkovou formou a celkovo pokrýva obdobie okolo 10 rokov, takže bolo taktiež zaujímavé sledovať, ako postavy dospievajú a pasujú sa so životnými situáciami a osudovými stretnutiami. Príbeh samozrejme obsahuje istú dávku romantického klišé, čo sa ale do istej miery očakáva a v konečnom dôsledku na mňa nepôsobilo rušivo, skôr pridalo Vianociam na rozprávkovej atmosfére :)
