China Debates the Future Security Environment

Featuring over 600 quotations from more than 200 Chinese authors, this study presents a unique glimpse into the perspectives of Chinese scholars from 1994 to 1999. With minimal analysis, it allows these voices to articulate their views on critical debates surrounding China's future security environment. Many authors were interviewed in China, shedding light on often-concealed discussions that are essential for understanding the foundations of China's national strategy and tracking potential changes in these views.
