After leaving her marriage to rock star Chick Wolfson, Alice embarks on a journey of self-discovery that leads her to the small town of Waiden, Oregon. Stranded and without resources, she takes a minimum wage job at a dilapidated inn. There, she becomes involved with Webb Cooley, a recent parolee harboring his own secrets.
