While no taxonomic revisions are made, suggestions for future revisions and notes on synonymy are included. The book employs different approaches for various taxa, offering detailed keys for predominantly aquatic groups like Plecoptera and Ephemeroptera, as well as for certain mixed groups, ensuring users can accurately identify known and unknown species.
