Exploring the interplay between masculinity, fiction, and education, this book examines how male teachers shape their professional identities through fictional narratives. It employs a narrative analysis methodology to assess the impact of 22 diverse fictional texts, including literature, plays, and films, on teachers' perceptions. Key themes such as legacy, fear, belonging, reparation, and violence emerge as significant influences on male educators. The study highlights the chaotic ways in which these professionals engage with fictional tropes to navigate their teaching experiences.
