Focusing on the innovative approach of vermicomposting, this work addresses the pressing issue of solid waste management exacerbated by population growth and industrialization. It explores the bioremediation of biosludges and effluents from beverage, distillery, and paper mill industries in Amritsar, Punjab, India. By converting organic wastes into vermicompost, the study aims to enhance the quality of solid and liquid wastes before their disposal, ultimately reducing pollution in soil and water bodies.
