Liz Oakley-Brown analyzes both canonical works, like Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus, and lesser-known texts, including women's embroideries depicting Ovidian myths. She posits that these translations play a crucial role in shaping national and gender identities, highlighting the social and historical differences reflected in these literary transformations.
