Catalogue of Death

Set against the backdrop of a snowstorm, the story follows Miss Helma Zukas, a dedicated librarian in Bellehaven, as she navigates the chaos brought on by the weather. With the town immobilized, she takes charge by providing information, managing her staff, and entertaining a group of stranded gamblers. The construction of a new library, funded by the wealthy Franklin Harrington, adds to the community's hopes, but the storm tests the resilience of both the town and its inhabitants.
