The study examines the effectiveness of using a CD-ROM with embedded virtual fire scene scenarios for teaching fire investigation. It analyzes the learning outcomes of four student groups through both quantitative and qualitative data. The findings suggest that this online and virtual learning approach enhances the educational experience, offering unique advantages over traditional real-time fire scenes. The research highlights the potential of reusable learning objects to deliver authentic learning experiences and equip students with transferable skills for real-world applications.
